Exercise has also been found to lower stress levels, improve sleep quality and increase energy. Research has shown that babies birthed by active mothers have higher APGER scores (measures how well your baby is tolerating life outside of the womb), it can also decrease the risk of conditions like preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, and it can decrease the need for medical intervention by up to 55%!
